Club Wagon Creek

Friday July 7th, 2023
8:30 pm

Zak Cudney and Mitchell Friesen formed Club Wagon Creek which started as a casual jam session to play simple acoustic songs. Both members have played in multiple bands over the years (more on the hard rock side of things). They decided to take a step back and try a more straight forward approach and attempt to write some more laid back originals, which quickly escalated into studio recording. They’ve since released them on major platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify, as well as performing at local venues in the southeastern Manitoba region.

It’s the Dennis Smook-off!

Time to “smook” some meat!

Do you enjoy visiting local butcheries and looking at all the types of cuts and meat?

Do you enjoy the smell of hickory, maple, mesquite, and applewood ?

If so, bring your competitive appetite to the St-Labre 200’s annual Food Competition! That’s right, we’re bringing it back!

This year, bring your filing cabinet, old bathtub or even your fancy smoker and smoke us your most delicious piece of meat.

Meat must be at the judges table by 11:00 am July 8th and will be judged on visual appeal, taste, and overall belly satisfaction.

This is your chance to be crowned “Smookin Hot” at the 200.

We would also like to take this chance to thank Dennis Smook for supporting St-Labre 200 from the beginning. You have been a fan from day one and wish you the best in retirement.
