Smiling from ear to ear at the St-Labre 200!
Smiling from ear to ear at the St-Labre 200!

St-Labre 200 Inc. is so unique and original, that we dare say it’s the only event of it’s kind in Canada.

Day 1 - We Build

Day 2 - We Race
The St-Labre 200 Inc. requires 18 teams to build their own go-karts within 24 hours. Using supplied materials, teams are challenged to build go-karts from scratch on the first day and race them the next day in a fast-paced, nail biting 200 lap race on a quarter mile dirt track. The main race takes place on Saturday evening and has the entire crowd in suspense.
What started off as a competition between the Grenier brothers and friends with 50 participants and 100 spectators in the first year has blown up into a provincial festival with 120 participants and 1500 spectators 10 years later. “St-Labre 200 Inc. is all about getting people together and having a great time” said committee member Lucien Grenier, “We can accomplish this all while raising money for many local organizations, charities and or causes.”

Join us in St-Labre, Manitoba where you will witness why this small little community more than triples its population for this event. St-Labre 200 Inc. also includes many free activities for the whole family such as excavator rodeo, cook-off, bounce balloon castles, remote control race-cars, rubber boot toss, live music and one of the best fireworks display in rural Manitoba.
